Leonie Jackson was a pioneer of bilingual education in Australia and throughout her teaching, corporate, and not-for-profit career, she championed the rights of deaf children. Equality in education for deaf children was a passion for Leonie.

In honor of her passion, and memory of Leonie, Deaf Connect launched The Leonie Jackson Memorial Fund for Bilingual Deaf Education early in 2021. The fund is Deaf Connect’s commitment to projects that will ensure access to quality bilingual education for all deaf children, regardless of their language preferences. It was established to provide funding support for projects that reflect Leonie’s ideals and build on her legacy.

My task was to create a Logo for the project and some minor branding elements. As a base, I was asked to use
Leonie's Signature visual - a smiling face. And to make the whole branding colorful.

The task was taken on Upwork.
